Dark, warm, elegant.
A bit about minimalism, a lot about wood and the geometry of simple forms. We love it for how we were able to organize the layout while preserving a sense of space. And for the subtle balance found between shades of complex colors.
План розташування меблів квартири

The apartment layout proposed by the residential complex was quite standard. The kitchen and living room were combined, but there wasn't enough space for a large sofa. The living room and the master bedroom had almost the same area. Overall, despite the functional arrangement of the rooms, the apartment lacked space and storage areas.

As a result of the redesign, the guest bedroom was reduced in favor of a walk-in closet. The kitchen-living room was expanded by incorporating the loggia and partially the master bedroom. The bathrooms were also reconfigured: a shower was added to the guest bathroom, making it fully functional, and the larger bathroom received a glass partition and access from the master bedroom.

The interior design features a contrast between warm and cool colors. Warm tones, such as orange textiles and wooden flooring, create a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, filling the space with energy and warmth. At the same time, complex shades of gray-blue and violet on parts of the walls and built-in furniture give the space a sense of freshness and tranquility. Interior photographer Mykhailo notes:

"When I first entered the space, the gray shade surprised me a bit. However, after spending time in this space during the photoshoot, I felt its beauty and the intent behind the interior design."

Dark glass, which always reflects the city's glimmers, helps to "dissolve" the massive structural column and avoid visually overloading the space.

The walls of the bedroom feature the same oak veneer with distinctive grain patterns as the ceiling in the hallway and living room. The centerpiece of the bedroom is a large bed with a soft headboard. The rest of the built-in furniture is minimalist, matching the tone of the walls. To avoid cluttering the space, glass bedside tables were chosen.

A dark bedroom requires thoughtful lighting. In addition to recessed linear ceiling fixtures, you can use soft, warm ambient lighting, the NA LINII floor lamp by Ukrainian designers SVITANOK, and pendant lights from Flos.

The small bathroom, thanks to its color scheme and glass partition, serves as an extension of the bedroom space. Additionally, this glass detailing echoes the glass column in the living room and the facades of the wardrobes.

For the bathroom project, it was crucial to find a bathtub with non-standard dimensions. The solution was to use the Rock Design bathtub made of cast marble, which can be customized to fit the specific length requirements.

In the guest bedroom, the same approach of contrasting warm and cool elements is used as in the living room. Here, the warm backdrop consists of panels with a geometric pattern, veneered in reddish walnut.

Due to the recessed wall adjacent to the wardrobe, a decorative niche with shelves for books and decor has been created. The theme of dark glass is continued with the wardrobe facades and the glass round bedside tables.

Wardrobe cabinets and entrance to the guest bedroom

Originally, the guest bathroom did not have a shower, so it became more functional after the redesign. The shower area is finished seamlessly with gray microcement. The large-format tiles on the walls are similar to those in the master bathroom. The highlights include the furniture facades, veneered in walnut, similar to the panels in the guest bedroom.

Thus, all the rooms in the project are connected through the use of materials from adjacent spaces, while each room maintains its own unique design and character with individual elements and techniques.
